Bio

An artist with a long work history in visual communication, Paula Gron founded A FREEHAND / PAULA GRON in 1986. Paula has provided concept graphic design and illustration services to a variety of clients for over 30 years.

Paula’s current professional emphasis is architectural rendering, editorial art and conceptual realistic illustration. Over the years, Paula has won many awards for her design and illustration work including numerous regional Ad Club awards, International Association of Business Communicators awards, a Type Director’s Club award and a team award Clio. Her work has been showcased in Print Casebook #7, in Print Magazine’s Regional Design Annual, and a compendium book on packaging design.

Paula had been a long-time member of the Louisville Graphic Design Association and the Graphic Artists’ Guild.
