After graduating from the Columbus College of Art & Design in 1973 with a degree in Graphic Design and Illustration, Paula Gron began her career in retail advertising. With over 13 years in the advertising design profession and several awards garnered along the way, Paula embarked on a freelance career in 1986. Since then, Paula has illustrated in a variety of styles and techniques for clients in Ohio, Kentucky, Arizona and now Texas.

In the early 1990s, we saw the introduction of digital technology. Paula embraces this new media and takes full advantage of it’s convenience. While her clients certainly appreciate the quality and unique features that this innovation has provided, A FREEHAND/PAULA GRON has a decidedly different point of view.

With minimal use of the computer, Paula illustrates by hand. For this reason, Paula’s illustrations are uniquely warm and artistic! Paula’s architectural renderings become a realistic representation of the vision of the architects, developers and planners responsible for each project. Likewise, her illustrations add life and whimsy to the creative vision of any art director.
