Hello and welcome!

Paula Gron specializes in a full range of illustration styles. With over 30 years of experience in graphic communication, Paula has been commissioned by clients in Ohio, Kentucky, Arizona and now Texas. Her areas of specialty are architectural rendering, editorial art and conceptual realistic illustration.

Paula’s architectural renderings are most often executed conventionally, off computer with pencil, pen and ink or watercolor/gouache media. She can work from rough sketches or a full set of detailed blueprints.

The final artwork becomes a realistic representation of the vision of the architects, developers and planners responsible for each project. From the illustration of individual homes to subdivision entryway scenes to fully rendered site plans, Paula can bring your project to life.

As an editorial artist, Paula works both on and off computer. In the role of artistic interpreter, Paula uses an imaginative approach to problem solving per project. Executed for brochures, posters, direct mail, signage and web materials, Paula’s work always adds life and warmth to your promotions.

The free-flowing line work lends action and animation to any subject. This style is adaptable for fully rendered editorial art or for spot line illustration. The artwork that is digitally rendered reads for greater precision when flat graphic elements are required.

Paula’s conceptual work delves into sensitive subject matter by depicting the unexpected. Each thought-provoking illustration takes the viewer on an imaginative journey using a color palette that often drives the point home.

Executed in watercolor and gouache medium on 140 lb. arches paper, each illustration contains rich textures and hues with notes of detail that bring the unlikely to life. The environment, health, children and education are some of the issues Paula feels passionate about.

Add the impact of original artwork to your next marketing project.
